With
its lively, friendly atmosphere, 3* Le
Prieuré is a comfortable Savoyard
chalet-style hotel located a very short
walk away from the shops, bars &
restaurants in the centre of Chamonix. The
hotel enjoys marvellous views across the
valley towards Mont Blanc.
The rooms are light and spacious,
decorated in sanded wood and vibrant
fabrics similar to those found in cosy
wooden chalets. They are equipped with a
satellite LCD television, a mini-bar,
direct dial telephone and safe.
Facing due south and with a balcony, the
rooms open out onto the Mont-Blanc massif.
Half-board accommodation includes a buffet
breakfast and a four-course evening meal
in the restaurant `la baita`. The food is
of an extremely high standard and
typically French. The gala dinner and
festivities are included for guests
staying over the Christmas and New Year
periods.
The hotel's facilities include an
open-plan reception lounge area,
conference rooms, billiard room (pool),
open fireplace, bar and occasional jazz
evenings and art exhibitions. A health
corner with complimentary Jacuzzi, sauna
& hamman is available from 4pm
onwards. Treatments include Indian massage
with warm oil, relaxing massage with
essential oil or traditional
Thai
or Chinese massage...
The hotel provides a free private shuttle
to/from the slopes each day and ski rental
delivered and waiting for you at the
hotel.
